The final round of the 2021 European Talent Cup took place on the weekend of October 30 at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain.. The French Team – GP Filière was there with its driver Clément Giabbani.
During the two days of testing Thursday and Friday, the driver of theFrench team – GP sector Clément Giabbani drove on a mixed track and he had to do his best to adapt to the difficult driving conditions.
During Saturday's qualifying sessions, Clement showed good performance in variable track conditions with a lot of rain at times. He qualifies directly for the Sunday races. He finished 12th in his series and therefore started the race in 24th place, which promises a good start to the weekend.
During the first race, the track was almost dry with only a few patches of moisture. Clement showed his potential and fought throughout the race in the same group. He finished in 20th position.
Concerning the second race, a small error on the starting grid before the warm-up lap forced Clement to start from the stands. He finished the race in 26th position.

“It was quite a mixed weekend with mixed track conditions, wet and dry at the same time. Clément showed good progress this weekend despite a small fall at the start of the practice session which gave him a little less confidence for the rest of the sessions.
The two races were very different: An almost dry track during the 1st, Clément was able to fight to finish among the first in his group. He showed good progress throughout the race. As for the 2nd, it was more difficult given that he started from the pit lane.
The year 2021 with Clément Giabbani (2020 French OGP Champion) was very interesting despite the difficulties he may have encountered throughout the year. We have worked a lot and improved many points throughout the season in order to adapt to the racing conditions which are very different in the European Talent Cup. We also worked on his physical preparation, on the management of sessions and rolling in packs.
Clément has progressed a lot throughout the season and finished the last round with a great fight in the race which shows that he has made a lot of progress since the start of the season. »

“This is the first race I have taken part in. During the 1st round I finished 20th in a fight with the 19th and with some nice overtaking moves. For the second round, the bike cut off on the starting grid and I therefore had to start from the pit lane, I finished in 26th place.
This season was a great discovery which was very beneficial to me. She brought me a lot in terms of driving, teamwork and I was also able to see the competition in a different way.
