The 2025 MotoGP season is fast approaching. The teams are preparing to present their liveries for the upcoming campaign, while the first rides will take place at the beginning of February on the Sepang circuit (Malaysia), as part of the pre-season tests. PaddockGP therefore invites you to make your predictions for a season that promises to be rich in events. To do this, we have created five polls relating to the main issues of this year of MotoGP.

Jorge Martin's challenge with Aprilia
One of the main challenges of this 2025 season will be to see if the reigning world champion, Jorge Martin, will be able to repeat his success with Aprilia. While it is clear that the title will be difficult to defend for the Spaniard, whose RS-GP will certainly be less competitive than Ducati's Desmosedici GP25, the question here is whether or not the Spaniard will be able to make the Noale factory shine by climbing onto the top step of the podium.

While Pedro Acosta was the only rider to make his debut in the premier class last year, there will be three to do so in 2025. Reigning Moto2 world champion Ai Ogura will ride under the Trackhouse Racing banner. Fermin Aldeguer, a multiple Grand Prix winner last year, will ride alongside Alex Marquez at Gresini, while Thailand's Somkiat Chantra will be Johann Zarco's new teammate at the Honda LCR team.

Pedro Acosta finally rewarded
This time last year, everyone was expecting young Pedro Acosta to break all the records for precocity in the premier class. While he certainly claimed a few, he did not threaten to take the status of youngest winner in MotoGP, which Marc Marquez still holds. The young Spaniard has taken more podiums than any other non-Ducati rider, as well as his first pole position, at the last Japanese Grand Prix, but he has yet to check the box for victory in MotoGP. In 2025, however, the 'Shark of Mazarron' will try to achieve this in a new environment, joining Brad Binder in the official KTM team.

The return of Japanese factories in MotoGP
Having struggled for a few seasons now, Yamaha and Honda were at the back of the grid last year. However, at mid-season, the progress of the two factories allowed them to move up slightly in the hierarchy, to get closer from time to time to the top-10 positions. In 2025, Honda intends to continue its momentum, with a reinforced test team. Yamaha will count on the support of its new satellite team, Pramac Racing. The Iwata factory will thus go from two to four machines on the grid, but will it progress twice as fast?

Marc Marquez towards a ninth crown?
It is perhaps the most anticipated answer of this 2025 MotoGP season: will Marc Marquez be able to fight for the title? Promoted to the Ducati factory team, alongside Pecco Bagnaia, the Spaniard intends to equal Valentino Rossi's nine world crowns on the Desmosedici GP25. To achieve this, however, he will have to surpass the master of Borgo Panigale, twice crowned with the Reds, and victorious eleven times on Sundays during the previous campaign he led.
