It's a real bombshell that Hervé Poncharal dropped at the microphone of Eurosport: Valentino Rossi could be interested in the 24th and last place in MotoGP in 2017.
Not for him, of course, but for his Sky VR46 team.

This would be a logical continuation of its investment in young Italian drivers which will lead, from next year, to the commitment of Romano Fenati in Moto2.

Ultimately, it therefore seems logical that the Sky VR46 team would apply for a place in MotoGP and, if this is not a reality next year, it will undoubtedly be for when the Doctor retires, in 2019...
