Having just gotten off his GP26 of the official Ducati team after finishing second in the Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix at the Losail circuit, Marc Márquez spoke to the cameras of the official MotoGP.com website with the satisfaction of having managed to secure a podium in this very important race for his quest for the title.

🎤 Marc, we can see how exhausted you are. Another brilliant weekend. Victory yesterday, second now, giving you a 60-point lead out of the 74 up for grabs. How does it feel to be so close to that eighth MotoGP title?
Marc Márquez: “Today, I was convinced, or rather very aware, of my strategy. I was just trying to manage the race for the first five laps. It didn't matter if Bezzecchi got away, if another rider got away, my race was mainly with Martín. But at one point, when I overtook Acosta… Acosta let me through because of a tire pressure issue, so I tried to control my pace. I saw that at one point I was super fast, but I knew that with that riding style, I was wearing down my front tire. And in the end, third place was okay, but I saw that Fernández was struggling, so you never know, I attacked and that's four more points. ”
